ABOUT THE OWNER

Faren DeRieux has been a proud member of the Forney community since 2012. She and her husband are raising their three daughters in Forney, where faith, sports, and community involvement are central to family life.

Faren played collegiate soccer at Austin College in Sherman, Texas, and brings both athletic and educational experience into her work with athletes. She earned her Master's degree in Education and spent 13 years in public education, developing a strong foundation in youth development, learning, and leadership. She currently works part-time as a Professional Learning Facilitator for LETRS, supporting educators nationwide.

In addition to her professional background, Faren has coached soccer for the past nine years. She currently coaches her youngest daughter's recreational team and two competitive teams with Drifters FC. Her passion for coaching, combined with her commitment to the Forney community, led to the creation of Forney Indoor Training—a space designed to support athletes, teams, and coaches year-round.

Our Origin Story

Forney is booming. We've seen an increase in young athletes and sports teams— but practice fields haven't kept pace with growing demand.

When our soccer teams began searching for an indoor training facility in Forney, we couldn't find one that met our needs. Instead of continuing to work around the problem, we decided to solve it.

Forney Indoor Training was built to give our community a dependable, high-quality space to train year-round. A place where teams can develop, coaches can teach, and athletes can put in meaningful work—no matter the season or the weather.
